Field Service

Today (Sunday) is like our Saturdays back home. Field service groups meet in the home...today was the Special Day for starting Bible Studies. It cooled down last night so it was a really nice day to ride bikes in service. The only thing lacking on Teri's bike is a bell and streamers. Basket-check. Pink-Check. Wide handle bars-check. It's pretty much amazing lol.

Caleb is giving the public talk today and we invited his Bible Study, so hopefully he will come. A year and a half ago there was 1 elder in the Dangriga hall, and they had 1 organized day for service. If you were to see the congregation now, you wouldn't belive it...4 elders, 5 Special Pioneers, a ton of Reg. Pioneers, Bible studies from the field are coming to the meetings and into the truth left and right! It's pretty amazing to see Jehovah directing people and some "organization" to this little town.

Here are some pics from this morning. And the horse ones are from last night. Oh and one is of Jonah and Caleb conducting some of Rene's studies last week.

In service we just go up to the house and yell "Goodmornin'!" No knocking, no numbers on the houses, just yell until someone comes to the door or window........its fun.

Much Love

  2. You guys look like a couple of gilead grads! I can see the bicycle photos in a future WT!
Meanwhile,,... scary Aunt Jodi decided to look up what kind of creatures exist in Belize. Hmmm...won't say anything too scary while you are there....but not too different from Australia from what I can see :) So watch where you step! I'll bet the birds are beautiful, tho. and the noisy monkeys.

  4. Glad to see you guys are having a blast! I was just reading in the a2 news that some guy is trying to start a bicycle taxi business here in town. Keep building your strength by riding those bikes, and you could take his business over. No competition. :)-
